Central Information Services (Pty) ltd. was formed in 1989 in response to the excessive demand for communication structures by service providers like Telkom , MTN, Vodacom and Cell C.

Our services include the manufacturing and erection of Telecommunication Masts such as Mono Poles, Trees, Lattice Towers and Towers-Angular, Transmission and Distribution Poles such as Standard Transmission & Distribution Poles, 259/261 Range (Planted), 262 Range (Surface Mounted), Non-Standard Structures, Substations, Lightning Conductors, Steel Fabrication and Civil Engineering.

Being extremely successful from the outset, the company has invested in upgrading its fabrication facilities and has managed successfully to explore other avenues, which to offer its expertise to and C.I.S. has became a preferred supplier to Eskom, of Monopole Transmission structures and structural steel structures for substations.

Being proud of the quality of our products and services rendered, management applied for SABS ISO 9001:2000 accreditation and in October 2003 CIS became the proud holder  of SABS’s certificate number LS 3218 and has sins passed several audits successfully.

In 2007 the Central Information Services (Pty) Ltd, became part of the Structa Group of Companies and the company’s name was changed to C.I.S. Engineering (Pty) Ltd. Becoming part of the Structa Group proved to be a very wise decision as with the backup of the group, CIS Engineering has managed to expand and upgrade its facilities and services even more.
